Meet Our Owner

Wichita Home Works was founded in 2015 by Nathan Svoboda, who set out to build a company rooted in craftsmanship, honesty, and genuine client relationships. A few years later, he met Doug Wells, who was running his own remodeling business and working with Wichita Home Works as a subcontractor in the field. Their shared passion for construction and aligned values in how to treat clients and run a business quickly became clear, leading Doug to join as co-owner in 2018. Though Nate hails from Nebraska and Doug from California, their common vision—to deliver quality work while treating clients like family—continues to guide Wichita Home Works and shape the company’s culture today.
